Vajdahunyad u. 4 – Budapest, Hungary
Turbina Cultural Center is one of the most important new centers for culture and electronic music in Budapest. It opened in 2021 in District 8, in an industrial complex at Vajdahunyad utca 4. From the outset, it operated not only as a club but also as a multifunctional cultural center combining music, art, performance, and social activities.
Turbina quickly became a key player in the Budapest underground scene. Programming includes techno, house, live concerts, ambient music, audiovisual events, exhibitions, and workshops. The club is known for its open, inclusive character and strong connection with the local creative scene. Organizers emphasize that the goal was to create a space for artistic experimentation and a community centered around alternative urban culture.
The complex covers approximately 1,300 m² and includes several different spaces: concert halls, a gallery, a courtyard, a bar, and a café/social area. This allows Turbina to function as both a nightclub and an all-day cultural events center.
In a short time, the club has established a strong presence in the European electronic music circuit. Local and international artists associated with underground techno and house regularly perform there. Resident Advisor calls Turbina a new art and music hub in Budapest.
