KHIDI

President Heydar Aliyev Embankment – Tbilisi, Georgia

KHIDI is one of the most important and renowned electronic music clubs in Tbilisi, Georgia, and a key part of the country’s vibrant underground culture, attracting both locals and techno fans from all over the world.

Founded in 2016, the name “KHIDI” means “bridge” in Georgian, referencing its location beneath the Vakhushti Bagrationi Bridge. This location lends it a truly underground character and a unique atmosphere, often described as dark and with a 90s rave vibe, in keeping with Tbilisi’s brutalist architecture.

The club boasts a spacious, dark venue and an excellent sound system.

It focuses primarily on underground, dark, and hard techno, though its nights can also include deep and mystical sounds.

KHIDI promotes both local artists (such as Boyd Schidt, Liza Rivs, and Vulkanski) and renowned international DJs and producers on the global techno scene (such as Ancient Methods, Phase Fatale, Regal, and Oscar Mulero).

It features two distinct stages, “KHIDI” (the main room) and “G2” (the alternative room), each offering a unique musical experience. The G2 room also provides opportunities for up-and-coming Georgian DJs. Beyond music, KHIDI promotes VJing culture, using moving images and video art to complement and enhance the club’s nights.

KHIDI operates with a philosophy of freedom, respect, and creating a safe space for all its visitors. It fosters diversity and openness and has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment or any aggressive, homophobic, or sexist behavior. They encourage personal and distinctive attire that allows visitors to feel free, excluding suits and uniforms.

Guests are asked not to take photos inside the club, especially on the dance floor, to protect the privacy of others and to focus on the music.

KHIDI is, therefore, much more than just a club; It is a cultural and social center that has significantly contributed to establishing Georgia as a globally outstanding location for electronic music lovers.
