HoT Andrey Plekhanov aka HoT
is a DJ and producer from Tula in western Russia. He started his production activity in 1997 and by 2000 he had developed his production techniques, which allowed him to gain fame on the world Ragga Jungle scene.
It wasn't until mid-2000 that his song 'Gas-Jet' was chosen as part of the compilation 'Tonz Of Drumz Vol.4 – Mixed by DJK'. Since then, he has become recognizable when he received regular support on DJ Gvozd's 'Pirate Station' on 'Record Radio' and later releasing it on the 'Pirate Station Record' label.
A few years passed before there was a significant breakthrough in Hot's career, when the head of JungleXpeditions Records and great ambassador of Ragga Jungli Rcola, released on his Canadian label, Hot's song – 'Policeman & Soldiers' for the first time on vinyl. This was followed by a series of releases on well-known labels such as Run Tingz Recordings, Moonshine Recordings, Lion Heart Recordings, RIQ Records, Mashed Youth, as well as the release of 10 tracks released on his own digital label: Hot Sound Records.
There is a bright future ahead for Hot as it has just been announced that it will be released on the Bristol label Jungle Clone Records.
