You don’t often hear about a shop where you can buy the latest vinyl releases and a bottle of good wine. Wait, actually I’ve never heard of a place like this before. Until now.
The Asfalt Winyle & Wino is a unique place on the map of Warsaw, which you must visit if you have anything to do with at least one of the above categories. Entering a small gallery at Mysia 3 street and heading to the 2nd floor, you will reach an open space with vinyl shelves and bottles of wine scattered around you. You will find enough EPs and LPs here to spend half a day in this lovely place, diving between genres ranging from jazz, hip-hop and downtempo to techno and trance. After taking your eyes off the titles, your attention is also drawn to the wall of bottles that match the original labels in an unusual way, making them a great gift idea.
The Asfalt Winyle & Wino is a place that I’ll definitely visit from time to time, not only because of my love of vinyl and good wine, but also because of the nature of this place and the attention that is paid to good design here. The intertwining covers of new albums and carefully selected wines with original labels are a combination for which it’s worth visiting this place.
