Warehouse Elementenstraat

Elementenstraat 25, 1014 AR – Amsterdam, Netherlands

Located in Amsterdam’s industrial west, Warehouse Elementenstraat is not just a club, but a piece of living history of Dutch rave culture and electronic music. This former warehouse, once a peanut factory, has established itself as one of the city’s most influential event spaces, offering a raw, immersive experience with world-class sound.

Warehouse Elementenstraat stands out from traditional clubs thanks to several key factors that have forged its legend and attract electronic music lovers from all over the world.

The aesthetics of the warehouse: The setting is key. With its exposed brick design, high ceilings, and pure industrial vibe, the venue retains an underground and authentic feel. This atmosphere is a direct echo of its past as the venue for the first large-scale illegal raves, organized by the legendary Multigroove collective in the early 1990s, which were crucial to the birth of the Dutch Gabber genre.

Modular and spacious: The venue consists of multiple huge rooms/halls (up to four), allowing different atmospheres to be created within the same event or large-scale indoor festivals to be hosted (capacity for around 2,500 people). This modularity gives it an “indoor festival” feel that few other venues can match.

Phenomenal Sound System: One of the most praised aspects by attendees is the quality of the sound system. The focus is clearly on music, especially cutting-edge, uncompromising techno.

Elite Curation: It is home to some of the most renowned indoor party and festival concepts, such as Reaktor and Unpolished, and is a key venue during the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), attracting top international DJs and underground talent.

Complete Sensory Experience: The emphasis on hypnotic visuals and state-of-the-art lighting designs, combined with powerful sound, transforms the industrial space into a sensory maze, guaranteeing a truly immersive night.

Community and Vibe: Those who have attended highlight the friendly atmosphere and strong sense of community, a spirit that has remained since its days as the birthplace of rave culture. It is a place where dancing until dawn with an open-minded crowd is valued.Phenomenal Sound System: One of the most praised aspects by attendees is the quality of the sound system.
