Slovenian DJ, producer, and rising electronic music star Brina Knauss is set to unveil her new two-track EP, Heaven, via her own imprint, Empath, on October 11th, 2024. Building on an exceptional year that has seen her play some of the world’s most iconic stages, Heaven is a further evolution of Brina’s deeply melodic and emotionally charged sound.
The title track, “Heaven,” is a transcendent, euphoric piece that sweeps listeners up with its soaring melodies and ethereal harmonies. In contrast, “Falling” plunges into darker territory, drawing on hypnotic rhythms and brooding atmospheres to create a deeply immersive experience. Together, the two tracks explore the emotional range that has come to define Brina’s music, blending light and dark in a way that feels both powerful and introspective.
2024 has been a breakthrough year for Brina, marked by standout performances at
Tomorrowland, Cercle Festival, and Core Medellin. Her presence on stage is matched by
growing recognition across the industry, including a Mixmag Brasil cover feature, a spotlight in Crack Magazine’s Crack Selects, and a collaboration with Chanel for the French Fries editorial. Reflecting on Heaven, Brina explains:
“This EP is about the balance between two worlds—the lightness of ‘Heaven’ and the depth of ‘Falling’. It’s a reflection of the emotional highs and lows we experience in life, something I always aim to express through my music.”
Brina’s unique journey into the electronic music world has been shaped by her classical training, giving her an edge in creating harmonious and meticulously crafted productions. Her 2023 saw her explode onto the international circuit, sharing her distinctive sound at renowned festivals like Awakenings and Afterlife, and now, with Heaven, Brina is preparing to take her artistic vision even further. With her growing fanbase, streams, and reputation for delivering emotionally charged performances, Brina Knauss is becoming one of the most exciting names in electronic music. As she continues to blur the lines between melody, emotion, and atmosphere, Heaven stands as another defining moment in her career.
