Acidtropicalia ends podcast series on a high note

The Wrocław collective Acidtropicalia is a well-known brand in our country, behind which are two promoters – A_tropic and Prncs Error.

In a recent post on Facebook, they informed about the end of the Acidtropicalia Podcast series. Its aim was to create a unique platform for presenting the DIVERSITY of the local scene with a strong curatorial intention. Recordings by, among others, Daisy Cutter, Penera, Glassz, Jaxe, ALLG, Paweł ‘Paide’ Dunajko and Cafe De La Jungle have appeared on its pages.

The Acidtropicalia project in its current form is coming to an end. However, I would like to emphasize that this is not the end – it is the announcement of something new. Transformation.
Acidtropicalia was born 7 years ago, when together with a group of friends we started
organizing events with music that could not be heard in other clubs. The desire
to present interesting, not necessarily popular music was from the very beginning
inscribed in our lineage. The podcast series was one of its pillars. Of course
we could publish more of them but we came to the conclusion that it’s time for something new.

Łukasz Jach aka A_tropic

The last mix, which was released a few days ago on their SoundCloud channel, was recorded by
the co-founder of the collective – A_tropic. A DJ who is difficult to assign a specific label to. Known for his love of British bass culture, combining UK sound with techno, electro, footwork and ambient music. His latest recording, which features tracks from producers such as Aloka, Dold, French II, Private Press, Some Guest is an eclectic mix of euphoric, modern club sounds created straight for club dancefloors.
