Over the past few years, the electronic music scene has been booming with collectives popping up. These collectives have a special way of reflecting the local culture, bringing together different people, dealing with various challenges, and finding creative ways to spotlight hidden talents.
As I explored Poland’s electronic music scene, I connected with some nice, open-minded people, and together, we’ve been blending our artistic visions, creating something awesome.
The independent collective hailing from Wrocław, also known as Breslau, is PRZESTRZEŃ, and they’ve quickly made their mark in the scene with their passionate dedication to promoting the finest DJs and producers for their events. While many DJ collectives focus on a specific music genre, these guys venture across multiple genres, providing their audience with a diverse and inclusive musical community.
Thank you for taking the time to speak with us! Tell us a little bit about PRZESTRZEŃ and how the project originated. How did you guys meet? When did you know that music was a pathway that each of you wanted to commit to as a group?
Actually, most of us met in our hometown, Nysa. Most of us were born there and most of us skate, so that’s how we met. All of us were dj’ing at home and wanted to try to develop further in that area, so someday we had the idea to get together, collect some cash and some friends in Wroclaw and try to throw our first private rave. The rest is history. From that exact moment, we knew that this was what we wanted to do.
As a very ambitious collective, we are curious how you encounter the challenges of booking big names to your parties.
Well, at first we brainstorm, of course, then we present our ideas to the club and then we write emails. A ton of emails.
Do you ever find yourselves taking inspiration from the work of each other?
I think we all do it to some extent, consciously or unconsciously, and seeing that we are so vastly different it helps us grow together and learn from each other.
Outside of music, what inspires you? And just personally what are other hobbies and interests of each of you?
Everything. Art, people, nature, technology, emotions, energies.
Egodesu is fully committed to music, but he also loves cinema and all other forms of art.

Too nice, also, how do you engage with social media and your community, and how does this interaction shape your artistic expression? Are there any advantages and disadvantages you’d like to highlight?
In these times to stay relevant you kind of have to engage in social media, so we try to do that as much we can, especially on Instagram. As for our community, we’ve built it doing private events where everybody knows each other, so we like our events to have a vibe similar to huge house parties where everyone feels safe and welcome.
We know it might be a secret but we are very curious. Are any new or upcoming artists on your radar that you dream of bringing onto the local scene?
There’s honestly too many to say right now.
In a prior conversation with ‘Egodesu,’ we explored the origins of the name ‘Breslau’ and its significance for your collective’s identity. Today, we’re interested in understanding how your upbringing in Wroclaw has influenced the distinctive musical journeys each of you has embarked upon, and what global impact you aspire to create while proudly carrying the legacy of your city.
It’s a city that brought us together. SIVIVI and Skejtik aren’t from Nysa, we met in Wroclaw. It’s a very energetic, youthful and artistic city, full of beautiful, warm, open-minded people and we want to carry that energy with us as far as we can.
We had the opportunity to party with you, and the vibe was incredible. It’s clear that your community is tight-knit. Could you please share the close previous and upcoming event dates and locations for our readers?
