Today we are with Isaac Rafael Manotas better known as Norraiz, Venezuelan rapper born in the State of Miranda in 1994. He will tell us about his musical career in the world of Rap/Rapcore.
Astrid: When did you decide to rap?
Norraiz: I've been writing since I was 13.
Astrid: What other genres do you like to dabble in?
Norraiz: So far Rap has always been what I like and for now I think it will continue to be that way.
Astrid: When did you first record?
Norraiz: When I was 15 years old I first set foot in a studio called Cearte, I was in Maracay with Elisaul (@Jenga) in the cab as operator.
Astrid: How many musical projects have you been in since your inception?
Norraiz: So far I have worked on several, I have an EP titled Repeat an 8-song album entitled Human and several singles, one of them with a feat by a Chilean rapper (@FLvYH) entitled Riders.
Astrid: When was your first live performance? Was it as a solo rapper or with a band?
Norraiz: It was like a rapper at the graduation of my class in high school.
Astrid: What other trades do you have outside of music?
Norraiz: I deliver to my city Maracay in my spare time, as a full-time rapper.
Astrid: Any reference artists?
Norraiz: Yes, Al2 el Aldeano, Cuban rap singer.
Astrid: Have you participated in national events?
Norraiz: Yes, I have attended events, when I performed at the El Convite Festival I was able to see Original Juan live along with other good rappers from here in Venezuela.
Astrid: What is the goal in your lyrics?
Norraiz: Each song represents several objectives, it depends on the mood and what the motive of my muse is, but they all have one in common and that is rapping with the heart.
Astrid: Would you do this for the rest of your life?
Norraiz: For the rest of my life I'll be doing it.
