A legend from Detroit with a spicy project in Katowice! The famous American DJ Jeff Mills is an icon of techno music. However, the world-renowned artist does not shy away from cross-genre experiments, combining electronics with jazz, world music and improvisation. The impulse to create the Tomorrow Comes The Harvest project was the Nigerian drum master Tony Allen. Spontaneous performances by Mills and Allen, joined by keyboardist Jean-Phi Dary, resulted in a joint album. Unfortunately, the premature death of the Afrobeat legend interrupted the band’s activities. Jeff Mills decided to continue the Tomorrow Comes The Harvest project by inviting tabla virtuoso Prabhu Edouard to cooperate. The result of the cooperation is the album “Evolution”, released in September 2023. The combination of organic rhythms with electronic effects and cosmic synthesizer sounds creates an interstellar soundtrack for achieving higher states of consciousness.
The Polish audience will have a unique chance to meet the champion from Detroit and his collaborators. The performance at NOSPR will be the only Polish concert of Tomorrow Comes The Harvest. Limited tickets are on sale!

The collective effort of talented musicians and their combined vision together make the artistic form of music so unique. Tomorrow Comes The Harvest is about discovering the unknown, while crossing the boundaries of intersecting sounds and rhythm through a series of improvised movements. This is a project initiated and implemented by the late Afrobeat creator and Nigerian drummer Tony Allen and Detroit Techno legend Jeff Mills. Each of them has a long tradition of performing music to achieve a higher level of consciousness. Together with veteran keyboardist Jean-Phi Dary, the three toured internationally until the untimely death of Tony Allen in 2020. However, the basics of the Tomorrow Comes The Harvest concept had already been established and were ready to continue. Mills reconfigured the trio, inviting tabla virtuoso Prabhu Edouard to join him. The fruit of the cooperation is the second album of the project titled “Evolution”, which was released in September 2023.
