Behind us is one of the events from the Boiler Room World Tour series, which took place on December 14 in Warsaw. The good location and promotion of the event meant that tickets sold out quickly like new Elektrons at Wired Tunes, attracting crowds of loyal fans.
It was one of the biggest events we managed to report on. Thanks to the invitation of Milena Głowacka, one of the performing artists, we had the opportunity to see everything from the very beginning. Bypassing the long queue at the entrance, we head to the artists’ entrance. A big surprise for us was that when entering the Expo XXI Hall from the backstage side, no one checked us, and if our reporter’s bag had been something more dangerous instead of a camera, it could have ended badly for many participants of the event, as well as the organizers themselves. However, leaving aside small shortcomings, we must admit that the level of production of the event was amazing. From the general division of space into the bar and event area and plenty of space to relax to the crushing sound system and top-class lighting installations.
Before the gates opened, you could walk freely through the entire hall, feeling the atmosphere of the upcoming event. For the first 40 minutes, you could watch how the huge space gradually filled with people, and after an hour you already felt like you were at a mass event in the style of Mayday or Verknipt. The line-up was really hot and if someone had the opportunity to be with us, they could listen to amazing sets performed by artists such as Ola Teks, Milena Głowacka, Sept b2b Umut Sefiloglu, Annē, Phase Fatale, Chris Liebing b2b Luke Slater, Marrøn, Daria Kolosova and Estella Boersma. For the comfort of the artists, a special platform and powerful monitors on both sides were prepared to make mixing comfortable. The crowd filling the hall and the space behind the artists made a great background for our photos, reflecting the mass character of this event. By the way, check out what we put together for you:

It took us much longer to get out of the building than to get in, but after 15 minutes of looking for the right direction and fighting off a few security guards, we managed to get out into an open space that was just covered in snow. Events like this one are definitely written into the history of even such large cities as Warsaw. It’s just a shame that they often compete with smaller events taking place at the same time, making popular and beloved places empty that evening. As is usually the case, however, the bigger ones take it all.
Thank you for the invitation and the opportunity to take unique photos. Look for us with our camera at the next unique events.
